Within the Group, EGIS bâtiments deals with building operations, in France and abroad, as a support for project management in infrastructures such as  medium to big size laboratories, hospitals, Data Centers, and so on.

 

EGIS Bâtiment plumbing department is made up of 6 Engineer and 4 Draughtsmen, under the supervision of the Department Manager.

 

 

Assignment Description

 

Reporting to the Plumbing Department Manager, and accompanied by an experienced Engineer, you will be responsible for design studies and supervising the implementation of the technical plumbing components and fire safety.

You will carry out technical studies using the preliminary designs, at all project phases, from the selection of technical options, design calculations and technical notes, to producing written and graphic material for contractor selection. You will participate in analyzing contractor bids and providing client-side project management services when selecting the contracting companies, as well as works supervision, in order to guarantee compliance of completed works in relation to the existing design studies.

 

Main assignment objectives and responsibilities

 Design studies in sanitary plumbing and standard fire protection installations (maintenance shafts, extinguishers, etc.) The Engineer will participate in the selection and calculation of technical options (equipment, miscellaneous networks etc.), according to standard norms and take into account new concerns to optimize energy consumption.

 Drafting written documents ( technical notes for cost estimates ...) for each design phase (pre-feasibility studies,  Detailed Design,…) and supervising a draftsman to produce graphical content

 Report writing of technical and financial analysis of contractor bids

 Works supervision and on-site technical reviews and end of works installation delivery inspection,

Required Profile

 Qualification level: BSc or MSc

 Minimum 2 years in a similar position 

 Specific skills: excellent report writing and communication skills required

 Personal attributes/interpersonal skills: autonomy, attention to detail, open to new innovations

 Languages required: English would be an advantage

 Applications and software used: Excel, Word, Powerpoint,

 Knowledge of Autocad and REVIT MEP would be a plus

Assignment Description

 

Main assignment objectives: As Structural Engineer/Team Leader, you will be responsible for project management and calculations for the reinforced concrete building works, and will provide detailed knowledge and technical skills in structural design works and modelling and contribute to developing and leading the production team. Main activities: - Structural calculations – detailed designs - modelling - iron works calculations – official recording of calculations – project management (technical, contractual, financial and commercial project responsibilities, resources and planning management) – client relations, architects,... – coordinating with the team of draughtsmen.

 

Profile required

At least Masters or equivalent from a reputable school or University in Civil Engineering or similar discipline, you will have around 10 years experience in implementation in an engineering consultancy environment, with at least one successful experience in project management.

Assignment Description

Main assignment objectives: You will be part of the electrical engineering department and responsible for the design and maintenance of large-scale, commercial building operations in electrical engineering (high voltage) and lifts, with some low voltage requirements.

Your main activities:

Pre-design phase :

• Study and selection of technical options

• definition of layout and architecture : - high voltage – generators - distribution - lighting – lift calculations – low voltage

Design :  

• Writing user guides and technical specifications

• Graphical production supervision carried out by a designer

• Cost estimation of his works components

• Coordinating with other project actors

Works Supervision :

• Analysing contractor bids  

• Implementation supervision (design review, plant materials delivery inspection, site visits, chairing meetings and adjustment techniques)

• test on completion and taking over certificates, resolution of pending issues.

 

Profile Required

As a qualified Engineer, you will have at least 5 years professional experience in the relevant field.

Required skills:

- High voltage electricity and good knowledge of low voltage –

 Tools : Office

- Language skills: English
